Holy Trinity Lutheran College

Located approximately 300 kilometres northwest of Melbourne, the town of Horsham, like so many regional towns in Australia, is familiar with a wide variety of weather conditions. With a climate classified as semi-arid, the summer sun can present a serious hazard while winter is capable of producing significant rainfall. With a growing student body and a busy pick-up/drop-off area, the Holy Trinity Lutheran College in Horsham wanted to provide sheltered seating for waiting students.

The designated pick-up/drop-off area is long and narrow so the management at the Holy Trinity Lutheran College contacted the experts at Felton Industries for advice on the right outdoor furniture to make best use of the space. Offering seating for up to 8 students, our Double Bench Shelter proved to be the right product for the job. Constructed from premium Australian aluminium, and engineered to the highest standards, the Double Bench Shelter easily met the schools’ requirement for longevity and all weather durability. Stylishly finished in a powder coated grey, the sturdy frames feature up to 20% more aluminium than competitive products. Renowned for its toughness and versatility, Colorbond steel, in Ironstone Grey, forms the gently arched roof that provides year round shelter from the elements.

Three Double Bench Shelters were installed to create the new amenity. In-ground installation ensures absolute stability and Felton Industries’ patented Safety End Caps remove any risk of scratching or tearing on rough edges. The end result was well received by all with the Double Bench Shelters fulfilling the schools’ objectives while creating a stylish new landmark of the pick-up/drop-off zone.
